Yes! Yes! Yes! We have rows!

Last year in May the quilting bug bit and I started with the Elm Creek quilt (Sylvia’s Bridal sampler). I have been distracted with lots of other projects, but sewed the blocks together today – row by row!  Next step is sashing between the rows, join the rows and quilt. I am so excited about getting this one done

      Thanks Claire. I made a mistake with the first blocks and cut them to 6″ square, instead of 6 1/2″, therefore I lost points. But I am happy with my first real patchwork 🙂

        I’ve just found out my sewing machine is broken which puts a bit of a spanner in the works.
