I haven’t smocked for a while, but just woke up the other morning with an idea for a little dress. Bought and washed the fabric yesterday, ironed and pleated it today – ready for a weekend of smocking.
But of course I couldn’t choose the fabric, so bought enough for two little dresses. I am thinking lace and ribbon and embroidered roses, or buttons……..and white broderie anglaise petticoats. As if I haven’t got enough to do 🙂
