Lots of needlework the past few weeks……..not that many boxes unpacked! I completed the Crochet Fusion quilt!!!!!!!!
This is where I was last time:
And here it is now:
I even learnt how to block acrylic wool so that keeps the shape – with steam. Now that i finished it I am looking for a similar project, I enjoyed doing the crochet fusion quilt so much
Please take some time and look at the lovely work of the other SAL members:
Avis, Claire, Gun, Carole, LucyAnn, Kate, Jess, Sue, Constanze, Debbierose, Christina,
Kathy, Margaret, Cindy, Helen, Steph, Linda, Catherine, Wendy
That sure has a beautiful feminine quality to it. The crochet just screams old fashioned charm to me.😊
It is strange how you sometimes fall in love with something and just want to make it – that is how I felt about this quilt 🙂
I’m glad you did!
oh Susan, that is really lovely! I’m not usually a floral fan, but as Kathy says, those fabrics have a lovely vintage look to them, and the crochet really makes for a superbe finish. I am very impressed and bet you’re going to feel so proud of yourself everytime you snuggle up under this gorgeous blanket!
Thanks Claire, I am actually quite proud of this. I look at it and can’t believe it is my handwork
What a charming quilt. Love how the crochet pulls it all together
Very pretty. This would be perfect in an old cottage, sitting by the log fire. It looks like a lot of work went into this one 🙂
Such a sweet vintage look, and I love the juxtaposition of fabric and crochet. Beautiful work.
Very pretty & spring like
Such a beautiful blanket! The crochet really pulls together those pretty squares. Definitely time to find a cottage with a fireplace!
So pretty and oh so delicate looking. You are a clever lady
That is so pretty! Congrats on a beautiful finish 🙂
It´s so neat and beautiful!
This is SO pretty! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a quilt quite like this. I hope you do another one.
It turned out great. I’m sure it feels good to have a finished project 😀
Wow! This is gorgeous!
